As an image professional, Kong’s practice spans the fields of photography, retouching, visual arts, and curation. Their work is defined by a multicultural lens, driven by critical inquiry and an insatiable curiosity to examine humanity through the histories of migration, diasporic connections, and political frameworks. With a deep understanding of global visual literacy, Kong strives to bridge communication by decoding visual languages and critically analyzing cultural contexts through history, as well as social and historical awareness.
Kong is a BFA graduate of the Visual Critical Studies program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. They also attended the Earth & Environmental Sciences Masters program at CUNY.
